Before You Start
CopyPile pastes for you by pressing ⌘ + V on your behalf, so macOS asks you to allow it under System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility the first time you use a CopyPile shortcut. Turn CopyPile on in that list and you're ready.
How It Works
Copy text as usual with ⌘ + C, and CopyPile will automatically save each item. To paste, press ⌘ + Shift + V. Each press pastes the next item and removes it from CopyPile. Yes, it's really that simple!
Choose Your Mode: Pile or Queue
You can select the order in which CopyPile pastes your items. In Pile mode, the item you copied last is pasted first: Last In, First Out. In Queue mode, items are pasted in the order you copied them: First In, First Out. Switch modes from the CopyPile window or with ⌘ + Shift + T. Switching keeps the items you have collected and only changes the order they are pasted in.
Managing and Disabling CopyPile
You can clear your copied items with just a few keystrokes. Simply press ⌘ + Shift + E, and all your items will be instantly removed! Need to disable CopyPile temporarily? Just press ⌘ + Shift + D to toggle CopyPile off and on. Turning it off also empties it.
