How It Works

  1. ⌘C

    Copy

Copy text anywhere, as many times as you like. CopyPile keeps every item.

  2. ⌘⇧V

    Paste

Each press pastes the next item and takes it off the pile.

  3. ⌘⇧T

    Pick the order

Newest first in Pile mode, or oldest first in Queue mode.

Why CopyPile

  • Pile or Queue

Paste the last thing you copied first, or go in the order you copied. Switch with ⌘ + Shift + T.

  • Keyboard first

Paste, switch modes, empty CopyPile or pause it, all without touching the mouse.

  • Private by design

What you copy stays in memory on your Mac. It is never saved to disk or sent anywhere.

  • Lives in the menu bar

No Dock icon and no window in your way. Click the menu bar icon when you need the settings.

  • Set your limits

Cap how many items CopyPile keeps, and choose whether it starts when you log in.

  • Pay once

$3.99, one-time. No subscription, no account, no ads.

Good to Know

Is it a clipboard history?
No. Each item is pasted once and then removed, and everything is cleared when you quit. That keeps CopyPile simple and private.
What can it copy?
Text. Images are skipped, and items are pasted as plain text, so formatting such as bold or links is not kept.
Why does it ask for Accessibility access?
To paste, CopyPile presses ⌘ + V for you, which macOS only allows with Accessibility access. It does not read your screen or record what you type.
Which Macs does it run on?
Any Mac with macOS 14 Sonoma or later. It runs natively on Apple silicon and Intel.
